Diversity and Dietetics

CAND’S DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION STATEMENT

The Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND) is committed to ensuring equity, diversity, and inclusion with all Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) and to whom all RDNs serve. CAND values the benefits that diversity brings to nutrition and dietetics, and offers inclusive opportunities to individuals with varied backgrounds, ideas, and talents from underrepresented minority groups. Diverse membership will continue to foster our trust and relationships with our patients, clients and consumers. Diversity brings to light all the unique intricacies and values that culture brings to food and nutrition and a diverse RDN membership will continue to showcase why RDNs are the food and nutrition experts.
