The College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for the position of Supervised Practice Coordinator/Lecturer of Nutrition and Dietetics. Responsibilities include coordination of supervised practice rotations and liaison with preceptors for MS/DI students, recruitment and maintenance of practice sites, assistance with data collection and record keeping, on-going curriculum updates, facilitating orientation and preceptor training, advising, communication with graduate students, and serving on capstone project committees. This 12-month, .50 FTE contract-renewable position requires a doctoral degree from an accredited university in foods, nutrition or related discipline and a Registered Dietitian Nutrition credential or a Master's degree in foods, nutrition, dietetics, or related area and two years of related experience not including a dietetic internship. The successful candidate will have expertise in nutrition education and/or management; experience collaborating with community partnerships; experience with online teaching; experience in program management; have practical nutrition experience; experience in advising students; and experience with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
